Okay so those who have seen a previous post of the same name with different content, I had to scrap it since girl friend corrected me that it wasn't "Blogger name", but in fact blog name only. Well anyway here it is. The two words of my blog come from two very iconic figures in the history of comics and television.
The first word, Serious, comes from The Dark Knight's Joker. I'm referring to the movie and the character where he attacks a mobster named Gambol and tells a story of how he got his scars. In that story he utters the famous catch phrase of the movie, "Why so serious?", which has made hardcore fans of this Joker so thrilled that they even made a website of the same catch phrase showing the Joker's work and what goes in that crazy mind of his. The Dark Knight is still, for me, by far, the best movie ever made. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was truly outstanding and he deserved the Academy award for best supporting actor even after his death. So in honor of the Joker, I integrated a word from his catch phrase into this blog.
The second word, Awesomeness, is credited to the legendary Barney Stinson from CBS' sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. Even if you hear the word awesome, the series always pops into your head because it is mentioned often within the series and mostly by the character Barney Stinson played by Neil Patrick Harris. Inspired by his inspirational posters that are posted on the wall of his office and in the net, I decided to implement that in my blog. So everything i put in here is automatically awesome. Including me.
